Hello! I’m Stefanie, an enthusiastic and dedicated English tutor committed to helping every student reach their full potential. I am currently completing my Bachelor of Education in Senior Phase and FET, specialising in English, and I am also TEFL-certified, which equips me with strong, internationally recognised teaching skills.
I pride myself on being professional, well-prepared, and deeply passionate about teaching. My tutoring style is calm, patient, and supportive, allowing learners to grow their confidence while developing real language skills. I tailor each lesson to the student’s level, needs, and goals, ensuring that every session is meaningful, structured, and enjoyable.
My experience working with learners from diverse backgrounds—combined with my ability to teach in English and Afrikaans, with basic support in isiZulu—helps me connect with students easily and create a comfortable learning environment. My Approach to Private Tutoring
My teaching approach is centred on building confidence, clarity, and real communication skills. Because I am both a TEFL graduate and a BEd student specialising in English, I combine academic knowledge with practical, easy-to-apply methods that help students improve quickly.
