About Harper
Sometimes I admit that accent softening is a process that requires a bit of patience. We begin with a focus on listening comprehension and build toward complex writing skills. I provide free access to my vocabulary notes for every student to ensure you have support between our sessions.
My 15 years of experience allows me to spot exactly where your TOEFL preparation or general conversation needs a boost. I prioritize speaking confidence above all else because that is what moves the needle for working professionals.
We look at pronunciation as a tool for clarity. It is not just about the rules. It is about how you connect with people. We will see where the journey takes us.

Teaching IELTS preparation and academic writing is just where I start, honestly. I have an MA TESOL plus a BA in French and Spanish from UTS and a CELTA to back up my methods. Over the last 15 years, I have helped many students and working professionals find their speaking confidence. I have taught 230 students how to use idioms and expressions effectively in high-pressure environments.
