About Lola
I am a French tutor with 8 years of experience teaching high school and college students, having guided over 150 learners to fluency, confidence, and academic success. My teaching philosophy emphasises personalised learning, tailoring lessons to each student’s pace, goals, and preferred learning style.
I integrate interactive conversation, role-playing, multimedia exercises, and cultural lessons to make learning both practical and engaging. My unique skill lies in simplifying complex grammar and vocabulary, helping students grasp concepts quickly and communicate confidently in real-life situations.
I focus on creating a supportive and motivating environment, where students feel encouraged to ask questions, practise actively, and celebrate milestones. Lessons balance academic rigour with practical communication skills, preparing students for both exams and everyday situations.
Teaching French is my passion. I aim to provide a tailored, enriching, and interactive learning experience, helping students achieve fluency, cultural awareness, and lasting confidence.

My French teaching philosophy focuses on building confidence through compassion, integrity, and adaptability. I believe confidence is the key to speaking fluently.
Compassion helps me create a comfortable learning atmosphere where students are encouraged to participate actively. I provide patient guidance and celebrate progress at every stage.
Integrity ensures that lessons are well-structured and academically strong. I maintain clear communication about expectations and progress. Regular practice tests and feedback sessions help students stay on track.
Adaptability allows me to adjust my methods depending on the student’s objectives. Beginners practise pronunciation and sentence formation, while advanced learners engage in discussions, essay writing, and comprehension of authentic materials.
I use interactive strategies such as storytelling, role plays, listening tasks, reading passages, and grammar reinforcement exercises. Alongside French language training, I can also teach related subjects such as translation techniques, literature appreciation, and communication skills enhancement.
