About Brian
With over 9 years of Guitar teaching experience, I focus on helping college students learn music in a relaxed, enjoyable, and confidence-building way. I understand that every learner has a different pace, so I design lessons that are simple, clear, and easy to follow. My goal is to help students understand the Guitar deeply while keeping their learning journey fun and rewarding. I teach chords, strumming patterns, fingerstyle basics, timing control, transitions, scales, ear training, and simple theory.
I also guide students in developing performance skills like smooth hand movement, posture, and stage confidence. One of my innovative approaches is my “Shape and Sound Method,” where students learn how chord shapes connect to the sound they create. This improves memory, speed, and comfort on the fretboard. I also use slow-motion demonstrations, loop-based practice, and visual diagrams to make each technique easier to understand.
I encourage students to explore creativity through improvisation and small composition tasks. The goal is not just to play songs but to understand music, express emotions, and build personal style. With friendly guidance, patience, and structured lessons, I help students become confident guitarists who enjoy every moment with their instrument.

My teaching methodology for Guitar is based on real-life learning, clear understanding, and honest guidance. I believe students learn better when lessons connect with music they hear every day. I use real-life examples, popular songs, and simple case studies to explain guitar techniques in an easy way.
Understanding is my first priority. I make sure students understand tuning, posture, finger placement, chords, strumming, and rhythm clearly before moving to advanced topics. Lessons are taught step by step so students feel confident and relaxed while learning.
Communication is open and friendly. I explain lessons in simple English and encourage students to ask questions without hesitation. I give clear demonstrations and regular feedback to help students improve.
Integrity is an important value in my teaching. I am honest about progress and focus on steady improvement. I guide students with patience and encourage discipline and regular practice.
Along with Guitar, I also teach related subjects such as basic music theory, rhythm training, ear training, and performance skills. My goal is to help students become confident and independent guitar players.
