Hi there! I’m excited to help you with math! With a double major in Biology and Psychology from Rutgers University-Camden, I bring a fun and clear approach to teaching math. Whether you’re in Pre-K or 12th grade, I’ll tailor my lessons to your needs, making algebra and trigonometry easier and more enjoyable. My experience as a Kumon instructor and peer tutor has shown me how to make learning effective and supportive. I’m here to build your confidence and help you succeed, and I can’t wait to get started!

About My Lessons
As a dedicated and friendly tutor with a strong academic background, my approach is designed to make learning engaging and effective for each student. Here’s how I structure my lessons and what makes my tutoring unique:
Teaching Method and Techniques:
I believe in creating a supportive and interactive learning environment where students feel comfortable and motivated. My teaching methods combine clear explanations with practical examples and hands-on practice. I focus on building a solid foundation in mathematics by addressing individual learning needs and encouraging critical thinking. I use a variety of techniques, including visual aids, real-life applications, and interactive exercises, to make complex concepts more accessible and relatable.
Typical Lesson Plan:
A typical lesson starts with a brief review of previous material to reinforce understanding. I then introduce new concepts with step-by-step explanations and examples. We work through practice problems together to ensure comprehension and address any questions. At the end of each session, I provide a summary of key points and assign targeted practice problems to help solidify the student’s grasp of the material. I also encourage students to set specific goals and track their progress over time.
What Sets Me Apart:
With a double major in Biology and Psychology from Rutgers University-Camden and experience as a Kumon instructor and peer tutor, I bring a well-rounded perspective to my teaching. My commitment to academic growth is evident in my ongoing efforts to gain more experience and enhance my teaching skills during my gap year before medical school.
