About Deepak

Hello, I'm Deepak — an experienced and dedicated tutor specialising in primary-level education. I’m passionate about helping children develop strong foundations in key subjects like English and maths, while also building their confidence and curiosity in learning. My journey into tutoring began with a simple motivation: I wanted to make a real difference in children's lives. Seeing how the right support can transform a child’s confidence and attitude towards learning inspired me to start working one-to-one with students. I truly believe that every child has potential, and my goal is to help them discover it in a calm, encouraging environment. With hands-on experience teaching students aged 5 to 11, I tailor each lesson to suit the individual child’s pace, needs, and learning style. I create a supportive space where students feel safe to ask questions, take risks, and grow — both academically and personally. I hold [insert your qualification(s) here – e.g. “a degree in Education” or “a teaching assistant certificate”], and I’m well-versed in the KS1 and KS2 curriculum. My lessons typically last around 60 minutes and are designed to be engaging, structured, and age-appropriate. Whether your child needs help catching up, preparing for SATs, or just building confidence, I’m here to support them every step of the way. I take pride in being professional, approachable, and committed — someone parents can rely on, and children can feel comfortable with. Helping young learners enjoy learning and take pride in their progress is at the heart of everything I do.

About the lesson

As a tutor, I focus on creating a calm, encouraging environment where young learners feel supported and confident. Every child learns differently, so I tailor my approach to suit each student’s needs, using a mix of clear explanations, practical activities, and creative methods to keep lessons engaging and effective. Whether we’re working through maths problems or reading together, I always aim to make learning enjoyable and meaningful. My lessons typically last around 60 minutes, though I’m flexible depending on the child’s age, focus, and comfort. For younger students, shorter sessions can be more effective, and I’m always happy to adjust based on what works best for the child. I have experience working with primary-level students across all key subjects, particularly in English and maths. I’m familiar with the KS1 and KS2 curriculum and have helped many children improve their academic skills, build confidence, and prepare for assessments like the SATs. My lessons are best suited for primary school children aged 5 to 11 who may need extra support, a confidence boost, or simply a bit more one-to-one attention outside the classroom. More than anything, I aim to help children enjoy learning and feel proud of their progress.
