Combining my academic background in B.Ed Special Education with practical teacher training from DIET, I aim to transform lives by ensuring equitable education for every child. I specialize in identifying learning strengths, managing behavior positively, and utilizing assistive technologies to make classrooms accessible. My goal is to create a safe, nurturing, and engaging atmosphere where children with disabilities can overcome challenges and reach their full potential."

Individualized Education Plan (IEP) Goals: The core of special education is the IEP, a roadmap tailored specifically to each student’s strengths and needs, ensuring they receive the exact support required to meet their personal goals.
Adaptive Academic Skills: We use specialized teaching methods and tools (such as assistive technology) to make subjects like reading, math, and writing accessible, focusing on addressing learning gaps.
Social and Communication Skills: We teach essential skills for interacting with others, such as greeting, initiating conversations, and navigating social situations with confidence.
Behavioral & Emotional Development: Special education provides emotional support and behavior management strategies, helping students understand their feelings, reduce anxiety, and build resilience.
Functional & Life Skills: For many, the focus includes daily living skills, executive functioning (organization, time management), and self-advocacy—learning to speak up for their own needs.
