About Lawrence
I taught maths for 1 year in a girls only secondary school year 1 & 2 during my national youth service as a young graduate. Afterwards, I taught computer science in two computer training schools. I have a wealth of experience training students on how to use the basic computer applications such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint. I began tutoring as a young graduate some 17 years ago and have received commendation for being an excellent tutor who is able to communicate effectively and motivate students to assimilate the subject matter. With well articulated computer based training resources and my own high level of maths and computing qualifications, I am able to guide students towards achieving their learning objectives.

I hold a BSc in Industrial Maths and a MSc in Software Engineering. I also hold a NCFE Level 3 Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement. I'm also a Microsoft certified professional in the area of systems and network engineering. As a private tutor and assessor, I understand that the lessons and support I deliver has to be tailored to the needs and learning level of the student. So, I make use of standardised computer based training resources as a guide to cover the appropriate curriculum and provide the support the student needs to achieve their learning goals. Thus, I'm able to deliver high quality lessons to KS1, KS2, KS3, GCSE students & others who are interested in learning maths, computer science, ICT & other science subjects. I'm also able to challenge and motivate students towards achieving their learning goals. This can be done either online or offline at a private computer library or at the student's home.
