About Nika
My name is Nika and I am currently an incoming dental student at Tufts Dental School. I am originally from the LA area and I went to college at the University of California, Riverside. I have had years of experience in science and I have worked with younger students in the past to help them achieve a higher level of learning. I believe that having someone to work through problems with is a great way to learn and remember concepts and especially after this last year in my master's program I have learned so much about learning and want to share my techniques.

I like to approach teaching from an open mind. It takes time and patience to learn certain topics and some are much harder than others! I have learned that understanding concepts is extremely important and once a concept is learned you can apply it to almost anything related to the topic. Seeing the bigger picture and working together to learn subjects is the way that I like to teach. As someone who has already experienced four years as a biology major in college and a year in a biomedical sciences program at Tufts I am very familiar with science and I'd like to pass down my strategies of learning!
