About Tasnim

Hi! My name is Tasnim and I am currently a 4th year dental surgery student at the University of Leeds. I am offering tuition services for GCSE/KS3 Science, personal statement mentoring and interview preparation for dentistry applicants. I have over 4 years of experience in tutoring in-person, privately and at schools, with the National Tutoring Programme alongside private online tuition. Is your son/daughter/student struggling to reach their goals? I've been there too. I originally missed my grades to get into Dentistry when I was 18. Instead of opting for another course, I decided to take out a gap year and resit my Chemistry and Biology A-level again independently without the help of an institution. I had a science tutor during this and I managed to turn my grades from a C into an A in just one year.

About the lesson

Is your son/daughter/student struggling to reach their goals? I've been there too. I originally missed my grades to get into Dentistry when I was 18. Instead of opting for another course, I decided to take out a gap year and resit my Chemistry and Biology A-level again independently without the help of an institution. I had a science tutor during this and I managed to turn my grades from a C into an A in just one year. My Approach: Now armed with tried and proven study techniques from my self-study and my past 4 years studying Dentistry, I can teach you/your student how to develop a GOOD routine to study and how to retain information well for exams. I have applied to 6 Russell group universities during my application cycle and received interviews and offers for each one so I know exactly what universities are looking for in personal statements. I have helped run summer camps with a company known as Medic Mentor the past few summers helping college students get into dentistry. Session Structure: My tutoring sessions consist of going through content, identifying gaps in knowledge and finishing with past paper exam questions. Affordable Rates: Quality education shouldn’t break the bank (I know some tutors can be pricey – lol) Feel free to get in contact if you are interested in in-person or online lessons. :)

Tasnim helped me with my personal statement application as I was applying as an independent candidate and she helped me formulate my ideas well and prepared me for interviews as well.
