About Thanushan
I have been teaching for the last 5 years. I hold a bachelor of science degree in computer science with a 2.1. I currently teach major computer science courses in programming, networking and database management, operating systems, algorithms, artificial intelligence domain. I am willing to pass my knowledge in these areas to anyone aspiring to learn something new. I started teaching as a way to keep myself engaged and impacting anyone that wants to study computer science. Furthermore, I am proud to say that all of my students have achieved their desired educational goals with many of them achieving a 1st or a 2.1.
I have proofread, tutored, edited and written over 100 computer science coursework, assignments, thesis, dissertations and final year project.

I teach various categories of computer science-related modules spanning from GCSE to Masters’ level computer science modules. My approach to tutoring involves first identifying the student current skillset and the student goals and then developing a structural plan on how to meet the goals. This usually involves some series of teaching sessions by me as well as further resources and problem set allocated to the student to reinforce the points from the session as well as to foster independent learning.
