About Dulith

I am a passionate sports person, who spent my whole life being in the sports industry as an athlete and as a successful sports person in the sports business. I am currently reading my Masters at Deakin University, Melbourne in Sports Management. I schooled at S.Thomas' college, Mount Lavinia, one of the best schools in Sri Lanka as a first batch college prefect, then went on to Swinburne University, Melbourne (Uni Link NCHS) for my 'Diploma in Business' where I graduated with a 3.375 GPA. Afterwards, I completed my Bachelor's in Marketing and International Business at Edith Cowan University, Perth (Uni Link ACBT), where I graduated with a 3.125 GPA and also completed my Post Graduate Diploma in Professional Marketing as a Chartered Marketer at CIM (UK), where I graduated as a merit student.

I was an outstanding student at college since I led many college sports teams, and was the house athlete captain, and I was in the first batch as a leading college prefect as it is the highest position at school. These leadership positions gave me the opportunity to lead students, guide them, motivate sports teams, and was involved in the college & student council, sharing my experience on improving the school. My previous universities (Swinburne, ECU & Deakin) identified this, and I was privileged to be the student ambassador.

My undying passion for sports goes back to my school days when I graduated with national colours for cricket and athletics and had the privilege to lead many sports teams as well. During my bachelor's, I had the opportunity to work in the sports industry at Ralhum Sports, where I was the Marketing and Business Development Manager with a team of 5, for international sports brands such as Babolat, Gray-Nicolls, SG, Dunlop and Molten. I was highly exposed to marketing, branding and promoting these sports brands officially in Sri Lanka and making sales for the company. I was also involved in making sports marketing videos for Gilbert and Babolat where I gained many experiences in Sports branding videography and photography. I had the privilege to work at a Sports IT company, Koach Hub based in Singapore as a Marketing Intern and a Business Analyst for the company, this organization helped me get exposed to various sports, sports marketing and the IT field of sports. My experience further extends off and on-field in the sports industry where I was a cricket coach and fitness trainer at S.Thomas' College, Mount Lavinia. I strongly believe in profit organisations and I have decent experience working closely with non-profit organisations such as United Nations (UN) and The Rotaract Club. In the Rotaract Club of my university, I was highly involved in making spreading awareness for mental health and directed a massive campaign for 'Women's Day' 2021 with the most viewed campaign video.
