About Mide

My name is Mide. I recently completed the International Baccalaureate Diploma, achieving strong GCSE results myself (8 in Maths, 9s in the Sciences) before tackling the IB. It wasn't always easy — at one point my predicted grades were low and I felt stuck. Through perseverance, the right support, and a focus on solid foundations, I turned things around completely.

That experience shapes how I tutor. I know that success isn't about natural talent it's about building confidence, practising consistently, and having things explained in a way that actually makes sense. Having now completed the IB, I bring fresh, in-depth subject knowledge and an approach that has already helped students achieve a grade 7 in Maths and 7-7 in Combined Science.

I'm now fully available over the summer to help students catch up, build confidence, or prepare for the year ahead.

About the lesson

I offer one-to-one online tutoring in GCSE Maths, Chemistry, and Geography, as well as 11+ Maths preparation. Lessons are tailored to each student's needs, with a strong focus on past-paper practice, exam technique, and building understanding from the ground up.

For Maths, I use a clear step-by-step problem-solving method. In Chemistry and Physics, I break complex ideas into manageable steps. Every session is supportive and encouraging I want students to feel safe asking questions and leave each lesson more confident than when they arrived.

My methods are already proven: a recent student achieved a 7 in Maths and 7-7 in Combined Science after working with me. Whether it's targeted revision, filling gaps, or getting ahead, I'm here to help.
