About Jason
Hello, I'm Jason and I love working with kids and even adults! I have a Math Minor from BYU and 6 years experience tutoring in college math labs at Mesa Community College and then BYU. I have completed my tutor training certificate at BYU. I received a regional gold medal and a state silver medal in a high school math competition with Academic Decathalon and also scored 34 on math on the ACT. I am currently a chemical Engineering Major at BYU but math is my jam! I'd love to help with your math needs. I also speak fluent Spanish from living in Mexico for 2 years.

I offer virtual tutoring through zoom and use 2 cameras and a digital white board for easy understanding. At the end of our sessions, I send out a page of whatever notes we made during our session for your personal review. I believe anyone can learn the concept if it is broken down correctly. I instill confidence in my students by teaching them to check their process and their work. I can easily figure out any math concept.

BASE RATE: $30 per hour
DISCOUNTED RATE PACKAGES: $50 for 2 hours worth of sessions, $80 for 4 hours worth of sessions (Use the hours on different days if you choose)
INDIVIDUAL PROBLEMS (taking up to 15 minutes each): $10 per problem
CANCELATION FEE / SHORT NOTICE SESSION FEE (within 12 hrs): $10 extra (This fee is waved for first time sessions)
