About Nadia

I am a writer and editor with several years of professional experience in journalism, editorial work, proofreading, and digital content. My professional background has given me extensive experience working with language, structure, clarity, tone, and storytelling.

Alongside my editorial career, I am a practicing poet and creative writer with my own collection of poems. I have a particular interest in haiku and have had my work published in an international multilingual haiku anthology.

My experience as an editor has strengthened my understanding of the writing and revision process, while my own practice as a poet has given me a deeper appreciation of creativity, observation, imagery, and individual expression. As a teacher, I aim to combine these experiences to provide thoughtful, personalized guidance.

I encourage students to experiment with language, develop their ideas, strengthen their writing, and gradually find their own distinctive voice. My classes are suitable for beginners as well as students and adults who already write and would like to develop their poetry and creative-writing skills further.

**Learn to Write Poetry & Haiku — Find Your Own Voice**

Have you always wanted to write poetry but didn't know where to begin?

I offer online poetry and creative writing sessions for beginners and anyone who would like to explore poetry in a relaxed, encouraging environment.

Together, we can explore:

• Finding ideas and inspiration in everyday life
• Observation, imagery and the senses
• Writing with rhythm, language and emotion
• Different forms of poetry
• Introduction to haiku and Japanese poetic traditions
• Editing and refining your poems
• Developing your own unique poetic voice

My approach is practical and workshop-based. You won't just learn about poetry — you'll write during the sessions, experiment with different approaches, and receive constructive feedback on your work.

I also have professional experience in editing and proofreading, which I bring into my creative-writing sessions to help students develop and polish their writing.

**Who are these sessions for?**

Beginners, aspiring poets, students, or anyone who simply wants to start writing and discover the joy of poetry.

No previous writing experience is required.
