About Sabina

My name is Sabina Cohen, and for over 30 years I have been deeply engaged in the study of Kabbalistic and Chassidic teachings. For three years, I attended Machon Chana in Crown Heights, Brooklyn. Later, I continued my studies through ongoing classes at the main Chabad synagogue at 770 Eastern Parkway, where I participated both as a student and as a teacher.

I am a native Hebrew speaker, originally from Israel, which allows me to teach directly from the original language with clarity and authenticity. My learning has been shaped through traditional texts, meaningful personal experience, and the profound influence of the Lubavitcher Rebbe, Rabbi Menachem Mendel Schneerson שליט״א.

I find joy in deepening my learning and dedicate time each day to ongoing study and spiritual growth. This continued commitment allows me to bring fresh understanding, depth, and inspiration into each lesson.

About the lesson

My Teaching Method and Techniques

I teach through a combination of original Hebrew texts, clear explanations, and interactive discussion. My approach makes the teachings of the Baal Shem Tov, the Zohar, Chassiduth, and the Hebrew letters accessible to students of all backgrounds. Lessons are adapted to each student's pace and interests.

Lessons are guided by PDFs and slide presentations, with each topic completed over 10 sessions (5 focused on foundational material and 5 on deeper exploration). Based on the Zohar and the Baal Shem Tov Kabbalistic teachings.

A Typical Lesson
Each lesson includes reading selected texts, exploring their meaning, and discussing the spiritual significance of the Hebrew letters and the process of creation. Questions and personal reflection are encouraged.

What Sets Me Apart

As a native Hebrew speaker, I work directly with original sources and focus on the inner meaning of the Hebrew Alef-Bet. My goal is to present these ancient teachings in a clear, practical, and inspiring way.

My classes are open to beginners and advanced students alike, as well as anyone interested in Chassiduth, Kabbalah, the Baal Shem Tov, the Zohar, and the spiritual meaning of the Hebrew letters.
