About Dhiyana
In matric, I obtained 88% for my final exams for English, and throughout high school I always got an A for English. I do not have a degree in English, however I am currently a first-year university student and am studying toward my LLB through UKZN. English plays a major role in the School of Law and so I am constantly engaging in skills that only improve my English proficiency, such as essay writing, literature, grammar, spelling, vocabulary and so forth.
I honestly love English, but I know that it can be daunting and even extremely difficult for many people. I hope to add a sense of calm and easiness to my students, allowing them to believe in themselves and their ability 100% so that their own intelligence is simply unlocked through actively engaging with the subject material. Many people believe that I've always just been naturally good at English, but I know that it takes hard work and diligence to produce consistently good results; and this is what I plan on bringing to my lessons.

Though I am young and new to tutoring, I have found that many of my friends and family members come to me time and time again to help them with English at school or even at work. I have a passion for writing and for the beautiful language that is English and this comes through in my teaching. I will be able to do my lessons online via Zoom and or Whatsapp, and also provide online resources to my students such as Powerpoints and other helpful documents. During my lessons I will be helping with English homework, assignments, essays, and I can dedicate lessons to any aspects of English that student may be struggling with. Since I study from home my schedule is also very flexible. I hope to spread the love I have for English and guide my students towards strong English marks.
