About Daniel
I am a passionate Drum tutor with more than 13 years of experience teaching college-level students. I help students build strong rhythm skills while developing confidence and creativity behind the drum kit. My teaching style is clear, patient, and goal-oriented.
I tailor lessons based on each student’s strengths and learning needs. I guide students as a mentor, encouraging critical thinking and disciplined practice. I use innovative methods such as groove development exercises, structured warm-ups, and song-based learning. I also focus on tempo control and coordination to build solid foundations. Accountability is a core part of my lessons.
I provide personalized practice plans, track progress, and give constructive feedback. Along with drum techniques, I support students with rhythm theory, basic music notation, and performance skills. My goal is to help students become confident, independent, and skilled drummers.

My teaching approach for drums focuses on creativity, understanding, and steady improvement. Each lesson is designed to balance technique, musical expression, and discipline.
Creativity is a key part of my teaching. Students learn to create grooves, explore fills, and play along with music tracks. This builds confidence and musical expression.
As a critical thinker and mentor, I explain rhythm concepts in a simple and structured way. Students learn timing, coordination, and control step by step.
Accountability is maintained through clear practice plans and regular progress reviews. I help students stay motivated and consistent throughout their learning journey.
Along with drums, I also teach related subjects such as basic music theory, rhythm exercises, tempo training, and performance skills. My goal is to help students become confident, creative, and responsible drummers.
