About Rae
I am an experienced Singing tutor with 12 years of teaching expertise. I work with School students, College students, and Working Professionals who are passionate about developing their singing skills and musical knowledge. My goal is to help every student become a confident and expressive singer.
My teaching philosophy centres on individualised instruction and continuous encouragement. I understand that each student has different goals and learning preferences, so I create lessons that are tailored to their specific needs. Whether someone is just starting or looking to refine advanced skills, I provide guidance that supports steady growth.
My classes include vocal exercises, breathing techniques, pitch training, rhythm development, voice control, and performance preparation. I use practical demonstrations, guided practice sessions, and constructive feedback to help students improve their skills effectively. Regular progress evaluations ensure that students remain motivated and focused.
Besides Singing, I teach Music Theory, Vocal Coaching, Ear Training, and Song Interpretation. These subjects complement vocal training and help students gain a more complete understanding of music. I encourage learners to explore their creativity while building strong technical foundations.
I pride myself on creating a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable expressing themselves. By combining technical instruction with motivation and encouragement, I help students achieve their goals while developing a lasting appreciation for music and performance.

My methodology for teaching Singing combines flexibility, creativity, understanding, and time management to create a student-focused learning environment. I believe that effective singing instruction should be personalised, engaging, and results-oriented.
I begin by identifying the student's goals and learning preferences. Some students aim to improve vocal technique, while others focus on performance, confidence building, or examination preparation. I adapt my lessons to meet these goals effectively.
Creativity plays a major role in my classes. I use diverse songs, interactive exercises, listening activities, and performance challenges to make learning enjoyable and meaningful. Students are encouraged to explore different styles of music while developing their unique vocal identity.
Lessons focus on breathing techniques, pitch accuracy, vocal strength, tone quality, rhythm, articulation, and emotional expression. Students learn practical strategies that help them improve consistently.
Understanding and patience help me build strong relationships with students. I provide constructive feedback and encouragement that promotes confidence and independent learning.
Time management ensures that every lesson includes a balance of warm-ups, technical training, song practice, and reflection. This structured approach supports long-term development and steady progress.
Along with Singing, I teach Music Theory, Ear Training, Vocal Care, Sight Singing, and Performance Techniques. My aim is to help students achieve their musical goals while enjoying the learning process.
