About Martin
Hello! I'm Martin, an artist originally from South Korea, currently based in Vancouver.
The first line of my artist bio always reads: "Everything begins with a coincidence." Just as a spontaneous line on a canvas or an accidental mix of colors can lead to a beautiful masterpiece, I am here to guide your curiosity about art into a lifelong, fulfilling hobby.
My work spans a broad spectrum—from fine art using mixed media like acrylics, pastels, and charcoal to realistic character illustrations and digital work using an iPad (Procreate). With this versatile background, I offer flexible, tailored lessons that fit your unique preferences and goals.
Art isn't intimidating or overly complex; it's a joyful way to express yourself. Instead of rigid, textbook instruction, we will work together to find the best way to express exactly what you want to draw.
