About Jack
I'm a a recent graduate from Leeds College of Music, with an extensive bank of knowledge in Music Theory, Composition and Conducting. I have extensive knowledge of Avid Sibelius Composition software - one of the many composition softwares accessible to GCSE and A Level students. Practically, I've been playing the Piano and Trumpet for 8, nearly 9 years. I have a very diverse repertoire, ranging from Classical Music through to Musical Theatre. I have performed at several weddings, and even on BBC Radio Lancashire. During its run, I was the Musical Director for the Leeds College of Music - Musical Theatre Society. I studied Spanish for 7 years in both High School and Sixth Form and frequent Spain annually. Thus far, I have taken a lot of both knowledge, and enthusiasm from the education system and private tutors and now, it's my turn to give back - I am due to start the Leeds SCITT Teacher Training course in September 2018. I've been teaching Music Theory and Piano for a little over 3 years now and my pupils range vastly in age from 7 through to 18. I've got a recent valid enhanced DBS Certificate, safeguarding certificates and a wealth of experience and knowledge to help you, your son/daughter or other relative thrive.
