Hi, I'm Maryam, a doctor and Oxford University graduate with over 10 years of tutoring experience. I'm passionate about the sciences, and I love sharing that enthusiasm with my students. I'm hardworking, easy-going and flexible, and I make sure every student feels relaxed and comfortable asking questions. My approach:
I closely follow the exam board specification, so students know every topic thoroughly and there are no surprises on exam day. I also set regular exam-style questions and provide accurate marking. This helps students understand exactly what examiners are looking for and builds strong exam technique. Above all, I aim to build students' confidence and a genuine enjoyment of learning, because students who feel capable tend to work harder and achieve more.
Lessons
Lessons typically last 60 minutes, however I am happy to offer up to 120 minutes if needed.
Qualifications and experience
I am a doctor and Oxford University graduate with over 10 years of tutoring experience. I achieved 10A* in my own GCSEs back in 2016, with 100 UMS in each science.
