About Nicolo
I am a graduate in Philosophy from the University of Bologna. I have a PhD in Classical Letters in the UK and I have university-level teaching experience in several English universities. For several years I have taught Ancient Language and Literature (Greek and Latin).

My approach to teaching is based on the idea that the teacher's task is to develop the student's critical intelligence. I favor a maieutic approach, which makes the student understand how to solve a problem or exercise, leveraging previous knowledge and reasoning. In this way, the understanding of the subject is strengthened as one becomes aware of a methodology for finding a solution to problems that can be applied to other cases. I am very friendly and I try to create an environment in which to learn where seriousness and moments of lightness combine to offer a stimulating and satisfying educational experience.
