About Dr Kathy

I am passionate about teaching and have taught junior doctors and medical students topics ranging from Physiology, Pharmacology and Clinical examinations. I have taught science subjects for IGCSE and Biology A-levels.

Medicine & Medical School admissions: I can provide help with all areas of the application: >Personal Statement >Aptitude Tests >Interview Techniques >Career Consulting> Questions About Medical School. During my time at the university, I have worked with the Medical School Admissions team, and I have a good insight into what they look for in prospective applicants.

About the lesson

I am a GP trainee in Manchester with extensive experience in teaching high school students, medical students and junior doctors.

I obtained my Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from Cardiff University and have taught students in medical societies and helped many of my previous students get into their top choice medical school. I am currently pursuing a Master of Public Health at Columbia University.

Personal statement & Interviews:

I sat on the admissions committee, interviewed prospective medical student applicants and provided mock interviews. I proofread and help you with personal statement writing and will work with you to ensure that your statement fulfils many of the selection criteria medical schools expect applicants to meet by highlighting your skills and qualities. When we start, I will create lesson plans, and we will come up with goals.
