About João

Having already taught at the higher education level in Ireland, as well as creating a course on science outreach for elementary students (Youth Academy), I always try to present concepts patiently and simplify them as best I can (using analogies, examples and even jokes to make learning fun and effective).

There are no totally wrong questions, we always learn something by asking ;)

About the lesson

As a PhD in Biomedical Engineering and a Master in Bioengineering - Molecular Biotechnology I am able to tutor Natural Sciences (2nd cycle), Physics-Chemistry or Natural Sciences (3rd cycle), Physics-Chemistry (10th and 11th year), Chemistry (12th year ) or disciplines of Biochemistry or Biotechnology for College classes.

Patient and able to explain concepts in the way that best suits each student, with teaching experience to higher education students and scientific outreach activities to elementary and high scool education students.
