About Dorothy
"Teaching programming involves debugging logic until the solution clicks for the student. I remember watching a student finally grasp version control after days of struggling with merge conflicts. After 13 years of teaching, I rely on project-based learning to build solid foundations.
My approach prioritizes clean code practices and data structures over rote memorization. I integrate Java, APIs, and backend basics into every project. When preparing for technical interviews, I focus on problem solving on coding platforms to ensure confidence. Feel free to reach out if you want to talk shop about your next project."

"Reasoning is the primary engine behind every line of code written during my sessions. 13 years of teaching experience show that clarity is the key to complex systems.
I hold an MSc Computer Science degree and apply that technical framework to help you navigate backend development. Mock technical interviews simulate real job applications to prepare you for the pressures of industry hiring.
These sessions provide an environment where you can test your knowledge under realistic conditions. You will gain experience in identifying bugs before they manifest in production.
This practice helps you stay calm when the pressure is on. I aim to build your confidence through systematic review and consistent feedback. You will see how clean architecture simplifies even the hardest debugging tasks."
