About Clara
You might find that your musical growth accelerates when you work with someone who understands the shift from student to professional performer. My background includes a BMus from RCM London, which informs how I approach teaching guitar to 221 students over the last 11 years.
I help learners grasp tuning and maintenance while demystifying improvisation and soloing. My own history involves intense grade exam prep and songwriting, so I relate well to the challenges of mastering chord transitions or blues progressions. I have worked with diverse musicians, keeping my approach patient and grounded. Lessons remain flexible to match your pace as we work through technical hurdles.

You will start by identifying your unique goals so that every minute of our time together serves a specific purpose. Improving your ability to navigate the fretboard requires patience. We focus on clear chord transitions and blues progressions to build your confidence. Tuning and maintenance are habits we integrate early.
I also weave in songwriting techniques to help you express your own ideas. Improvisation and soloing represent the most exciting part of the journey for many players. I find it deeply rewarding to watch someone discover their own sound while preparing for grade exam requirements. It is a privilege to share this process with you.
