About Dominic

As a tutor and coach, meaningful connection with other human beings is high on my list. It is my job to have the student feel respected and understood. I am passionate about creating healthy and empowered learning sessions that help the student feel confident. I recommend a minimum of two classes per week, as consistency and structure will get you learning English faster!

About the lesson

Hello Dominic has over 20 years experience teaching English. He was the acting Director of Studies at Uniworld College, Haymarket, for 6 months in 2003.  He is understanding, caring, professional and excited to share his English skills. He has taught extensively both in classrooms and one-on-one sessions. He believes that the style of your communication is as important as the technical grammar skills when learning effective communication.

Perfect! I have been learning English with Dominic for two years. He often chats with me about daily life, and we also share our cultura and interests. During our conversations, my listening and speaking skills have improved unconsciously. We also worked on correct pronunciation, voice control, and syllable, and he helped me correct my accent and habit of speaking too fast. Dominic is not only an excellent teacher but also a very kind person. Every time I come to class, he warmly welcomes me with a cup of hot tea. When I am under study pressure, he helps me adjust my mood with meditation. Once I encountered Housing rental fraud, he even help to contact the police for me and explain the situation. This really helped me a lot. I was very touched. I am really grateful to him. I believe that Dominic is a trustworthy, caring and professional teacher, and he will surely be a good teacher and friend to any student.
