About Layla
I am a multicultural artist, with a BA in Conflict analysis and Resolution. I have practiced Yoga since 2017. I started by taking classes at CorePower, then through self exploration by reading the philosophy of Yoga. Eventually, I began hosting events in America and Africa to have the freedom of learning with groups of people. I believe that Yoga is a discipline that you practice forever for your own betterment. I enjoy the opportunity to create a safe space, meeting new people, establishing creative dialogues, and flowing through the movement of Yoga. I have a passion to help motivate any community I become a part of by assisting to their needs, whether it is through yoga, teaching, photography or any form of community building- I am there!

70% of waste is eliminated through your lungs just by simply breathing. WE all know that breathing has many benefits to the anatomy of our body. Therefore, I like to base my Yoga classes focusing on deep breathing, just as it should be, with the practice of Iyengar Yoga. I prefer Iyengar because it sheds light on the detail, precision and alignment in the performance of yoga postures.
