About Destiny
Hi everyone! I'm an energetic, patient, and solution finding tutor. I'm in my last year as an honors double major: English and Psychology student at UCLA. I've been tutoring for about 4 years now and I have been able to develop a system that allows me to ensure proper attention to each one of my students. I do not take on more than a few students per semester in order to be available for my students, but I do currently have a slot open that I'm looking to fill.

I'm a tutor/accountability coach that works with adolescents and teens (10+ and up). I tutor a wide range of subjects including English, History, Spanish, Biology, Physiology, Psychology, Algebra 1/2, several AP classes, and SAT/ACT Prep. Feel free to inquire about specific subjects that I didn't include! And yes, I can help with college essay writing as well for most subjects.
I implement systems and provide my students who need help with organization, timeliness, and completion with the most efficient tools. I love to focus on how each individual responds to stressors and I learn their coping styles to figure out the best possible way to help them get motivated and understand apply the content they learn. Each lesson plan is individualized for each student. There is no judgement in the sessions for how "far behind" a student is either with content, technology, behavior, or all of the above.
