About Douglas
- What kind of experience do you have?
I have been teaching piano privately since 1996, I've been teaching music in sixth-form colleges since 1999, and I've been teaching in schools since 2003. In that time I have prepared numerous students for a wide range of exams, with an extremely high success rate. Some of my students have entered top universities and music conservatoires. But I also teach people who just want to learn for fun and don't want to do exams.
As a performer, I have played piano or keyboards in many productions of musicals. In addition I have always been an active member of various local choirs.

Yes.
- Do you belong to any professional organisations?
Yes, the Incorporated Society of Musicians and NASUWT.

£15 for half an hour

I teach at my home in Portchester (between Portsmouth and Fareham).

I teach during the day and evenings, from Saturday to Wednesday.

For Piano and Theory I teach all ages from 5 years upwards, and all grades.
