About Viktor
My name is Viktor Mertes, I am 21 years old, and I am currently preparing my portfolio for admission to an art school. I plan to begin my studies in fine arts next year. I have been intensively involved with art and drawing for many years. This has allowed me to acquire the necessary technical skills such as line work, perspective, and spatial representation. My enthusiasm for manga and comic art, in particular, has motivated me to master the fundamentals of drawing. Over time, I have broadened my artistic horizons, increasingly delving into art history, and coming to appreciate contemporary and abstract art. I draw regularly, especially nature studies and portraits. I work with various media and have experience with ink, digital drawing, as well as oil and watercolor painting. It's important to me to convey creative work in an understandable and motivating way and to address the individual interests and skill level of each student.

Drawing lessons in Vienna: individual instruction for children, teenagers, and adults. Depending on your needs, I can teach fundamental drawing skills such as perspective and anatomy, as well as support your creative and technical development. Lessons are tailored to your individual level and interests. From initial pencil grip exercises and nature studies to portrait drawing, I support beginners as well as those who want to further develop their skills. I am also happy to provide you or your students with individual feedback and constructive criticism.

Viktor hat mir echt dabei geholfen mich künstlich weiterzuentwickeln. Außerdem hat er mich dabei bestärkt meinen eigenen Stil weiterzuentwickeln und ist dabei wirklich auf meine individuellen Bedürfnisse eingegangen. Ich hab viel dazu gelernt!
Ich nehme seit 4 Monaten Zeichenunterricht beim Viktor und bin wirklich glücklich sowohl mit meinen Fortschritten als auch mit den Unterrichtseinheiten selbst. Man spürt Viktors Leidenschaft für Kunst (und leider ist das tatsächlich keine Selbstverständlichkeit), was für mich sehr wichtig ist, weil es mir stark hilft, neue Inhalte/Techniken aufzufassen und inspiriert zu bleiben.
Von der Person her ist der Viktor auf der ruhigeren Seite, kann aber sehr gut kommunizieren. Er gibt Kreativität den Spielraum den sie verdient hat und bleibt im Umgang immer respektvoll, auch wenn er von seiner eigenen Vision überzeugt ist.
Insgesamt kann ich den Viktor mit Herz weiterempfählen und bin froh, nicht weiter nach einem guten Lehrer suchen zu müssen.
