About Carter

With 10 years of teaching and music experience, I have grown into a drum tutor who believes in building confidence, skill, and passion in every student. I teach school to college learners because I enjoy watching young minds discover the joy of rhythm and performance. My own journey with drumming started as a personal interest, but it soon turned into a career filled with purpose and creativity. A major milestone in my career was helping a group of students form their first band.

I trained them from basic beats to full performances, and watching them shine on stage was a proud moment. I have also helped many students prepare for competitions, exams, and school cultural programmes, guiding them with patience and motivation. My teaching style is simple and supportive. I break down beats, rhythms, and coordination into easy steps that help students learn without pressure. I use song-based practice, clear demonstrations, and guided exercises that match each learner’s level. About the lesson

My teaching methodology for Drums is shaped by Motivation, Communication, Integrity, and Creativity. I aim to help students understand rhythm step-by-step while keeping the learning environment positive, structured, and enjoyable. Motivation is important in every lesson. I set small weekly goals, track progress, and use fun warm-ups and songs to make practice exciting. When students see their improvement, they stay inspired and confident to learn more.

Communication plays a big role in my teaching. I use simple English, show each beat slowly, and repeat demonstrations until students are comfortable. I encourage open conversation so learners can freely share doubts or difficulties at any time. Integrity helps students build strong habits. I provide honest feedback in a gentle way, guide students with patience, and make sure they learn proper hand control, sticking techniques, and timing skin.
