About Shubh
Welcome to my Superprof profile! My name is Shubh, and I'm a dedicated tutor with a passion for teaching and helping students succeed. With experience tutoring at primary schools across Victoria and NSW, as well as secondary school and university students, I have a proven track record of success.
As a Software Engineering student at Monash University, I have a strong understanding of STEM subjects, especially programming languages. My current WAM of 86 and GPA of 3.56 demonstrate my academic excellence, and my Salutatorian status in secondary school with an average of 95 across all subjects showcases my expertise in the areas I teach.
My unique personalized approach to tutoring is inspired by the Feynman Technique, which breaks down complex concepts into basic learning blocks to build a strong foundation for learning. I use hands-on activities, visual aids, and real-world examples to make learning fun and engaging. My lessons are suitable for students of all levels and ages, from primary school to university level, and I specialize in programming languages, Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry.
As a bilingual speaker of Spanish and English, and with proficiency in Hindi, I'm able to connect with a diverse range of students and adapt my teaching style to meet their unique needs. I'm flexible with lesson lengths and always encourage curiosity and questions from my students. Approach: I use a unique personalized approach called the Feynman's technique to tutoring that adapts to the individual needs of each student by breaking down complex concepts into basic learning blocks as a foundation to build an expert.
My teaching methodology incorporates hands-on activities, such as flashcards, visual aids using my iPad to explain, and real-world examples to make complex concepts easier to understand.
Lesson Length: My typical lesson length is 60 minutes, but I'm flexible and can adjust based on the student's needs and preferences easily. I enjoy any questions and appreciate your curiosity!
Qualifications: I have experience tutoring at primary school centers all across Victoria and NSW and have tutored several secondary school/university students. I have received praise and positive feedback from my students every time. I'm also a Software Engineering student at Monash University, which gives me a strong understanding of STEM subjects, especially programming languages.
