About Betsy
I am a passionate Guitar tutor with 5 years of experience teaching high school and college students. During this time, I have taught over 300 students, guiding them to develop technical skills, creativity, and confidence.
My teaching style combines structured lessons with interactive exercises and creative exploration, making learning both effective and enjoyable. One milestone I am particularly proud of is mentoring students to perform successfully in college events and competitions, witnessing their growth and confidence firsthand.
I focus on nurturing musical expression, discipline, and self-belief, helping students develop a lifelong love for music. My goal is to create lessons where every student feels inspired, supported, and motivated to reach their full potential on the Guitar.

My guitar teaching methodology focuses on building strong fundamentals and steady progress. I use communication to explain guitar concepts in simple and easy words. Students learn chords, scales, rhythm, and strumming patterns clearly and confidently.
I support accountability by guiding students to follow regular practice schedules and set personal goals. Progress tracking helps students stay disciplined and motivated. Integrity is at the heart of my teaching. I ensure students learn correct posture, finger placement, and musical basics from the beginning.
Lessons are designed based on the student’s pace and interests. I combine technical exercises, rhythm training, and song practice to make learning effective and enjoyable. I also teach related subjects such as music theory, ear training, and songwriting to support complete musical growth.
My teaching style is friendly, patient, and encouraging. I help students build confidence, creativity, and long-lasting guitar skills.
