About Tyler
I am an enthusiastic piano tutor with more than 9+ years of experience teaching students from different backgrounds including school, college, and working professionals. I enjoy making learning simple, engaging, and effective. My teaching approach is based on communication, flexibility, and encouragement.
I customise my lessons according to each student’s goals and learning pace. I focus on building strong basics and gradually improving skills. In addition to piano, I teach music theory, rhythm training, and ear development to help students become confident musicians.
I also include song learning and practical exercises to make lessons interesting. My strength is simplifying learning and making it enjoyable. I help students build confidence, improve consistency, and develop good practice habits. I believe in creating a friendly and motivating environment where students feel encouraged to learn and grow.

My teaching methodology emphasises confidence-building, creative, and adaptive lessons. I believe piano education should inspire students to express themselves musically, strengthen technical skills, and enjoy the learning process. Through consistent communication, I understand each student’s goals, challenges, and learning style, allowing me to design lessons that are engaging, personalised, and effective.
Creativity is central to my approach. Students explore improvisation, compose original music, and experiment with different musical genres, helping them develop originality and artistic expression. Flexibility ensures lessons are adapted to the student’s pace, skill level, and preferred learning style, fostering steady progress and a positive learning experience.
Along with piano, I teach music theory, sight-reading, rhythm exercises, and ear training. This comprehensive methodology develops technical mastery, expressive ability, and musical understanding. My aim is to inspire students to become confident, creative, and lifelong musicians.
