About Maica Clare
I hold a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education from Grand Canyon University and a minor in Communications from Pasadena City College. With a total of nine years of experience working with children, I have served in various roles. Firstly, I was a TK/kindergarten teacher in a classroom setting for four years. Secondly, I worked as a private teacher for three years catering to the needs of children aged 4-6. Lastly, I spent two years as a mentor, adeptly preparing children for college.

As a skilled Transitional and Kindergarten teacher with a cumulative teaching experience of four years, I have demonstrated my ability to effectively manage student behavior through my conscientious and versatile approach that prioritizes the use of social skills and empathy. My instructional style is characterized by a student-centered approach that incorporates feedback and progress updates from individual students to develop compelling lesson plans that are tailored to address their unique learning needs, strengths, and weaknesses. Additionally, I ensure parental involvement in the educational process and take into account their feedback while designing my lesson plans to create a comprehensive approach that maximizes the learning outcomes of my students.
My lesson plans are designed to promote the acquisition of life and social skills and are structured to cater to different learning styles and abilities. The focused subject realms around in preparation of reading and basic mathematics.
