About Jamica
I am a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Education student with experience tutoring Kindergarten to Grade 7 students during the pandemic. I also have experience working as a tutor for Nursery to Grade 3 learners. I use fun and engaging activities such as games, songs, storytelling, and movement to make learning enjoyable and meaningful. I am patient, friendly, and committed to creating a safe and positive learning environment where children feel comfortable and supported. My goal is to help young learners develop their skills, build confidence, and enjoy the learning process.

My approach as a tutor is simple, fun, and child-centered. I use games, songs, storytelling, pictures, and hands-on activities to help children learn and stay engaged.
A typical lesson starts with a short warm-up activity, followed by the introduction of the topic. Children then participate in activities to practice what they have learned. The lesson ends with a short review.
What sets me apart is my experience teaching children in Sunday school through music, movement, and Bible storytelling. As an Early Childhood Education student, I also understand the importance of using age-appropriate and engaging teaching methods.
My lessons are mainly for preschool and early childhood learners who are learning basic mathematics, letters, colors, shapes, science concepts, values, and other foundational skills.
