About Ivor
Hi, I’m Ivor! I’m a student of Business Economics in Croatia with a big passion for languages, people, and psychology. I love connecting with others and helping them reach their goals – that’s why teaching Croatian feels natural to me. When I’m not studying or tutoring, you’ll probably find me at the gym, playing basketball, or enjoying sushi and pancakes. I’m also a big fan of sports like ping pong and football (yes, I support Bayern and Dinamo). Because I’m open, patient, and easygoing, my lessons are relaxed and beginner-friendly. I believe that learning a new language should be fun, motivating, and stress-free – and that’s exactly what you’ll get with me.

My teaching style is all about making Croatian simple, practical, and stress-free. I use a conversation-first method, where you start speaking from the very first lesson – even if it’s just a few words. Step by step, we build your vocabulary, grammar, and confidence in a natural way.
A typical lesson looks like this:
Warm-up chat to practice what you already know (or quick revision for beginners).
New material introduced through real-life examples – greetings, ordering food, small talk, daily situations.
Practice together – short dialogues, role-play, and repetition so the knowledge sticks.
Wrap-up with key phrases of the day and clear homework or practice tips.
What sets me apart is that I’m young, patient, and approachable. I have no rigid expectations – if you’re a complete beginner, that’s perfect. You can feel relaxed and make mistakes without stress, because that’s how real progress happens.
