I’m June. My Mandarin tutoring approach is student-centered and tailored to each learner’s goals. I combine standard pronunciation correction, daily conversation practice, grammar basics and scenario-based speaking training to help learners speak authentic, fluent Mandarin step by step. I use clear, simple explanations and personalized learning plans to fix pronunciation problems, boost confidence and improve practical communication skills.
A typical lesson lasts 30 or 60 minutes. I hold a formal Mandarin proficiency certificate, with over 200 hours of one-on-one tutoring experience. I have a Master’s degree from Southeast University and am currently pursuing my PhD in Education and Psychology at the University of Southern Queensland, which allows me to apply professional educational psychology methods to my teaching.
My Mandarin lessons are suitable for learners of all ages and levels: beginners with no foundation, intermediate learners wanting to polish pronunciation and conversation, students preparing for Mandarin exams, as well as adults learning Mandarin for daily life, study and work. I adjust my teaching pace and content fully based on each student’s level and learning needs.
