About Tyler
I have 7 years of experience teaching adults and children on a variety of subjects ranging from biology to ELA to history. For the past three years, I have focused on researching and teaching world history, social sciences, and earth sciences.

My approach to teaching is to engage and involve the student as much as possible. Rather than stating facts, dates, and timelines of events to be memorized, my aim is to get the student to visualize the scene, to put themselves there, to imagine the sounds and smells. I believe this goes a long way to not only help the student to remember the information, but to also become passionate about it.
