About Sakalas
Labas! I’m Sakalas, a native Lithuanian speaker, former news host and a known singer of Lithuanian folk music.
Before moving abroad, I was selected to host the news for my old-timey articulate pronunciation and knowledge in the language. I love the Lithuanian tongue and know it in its full depth, beyond everyday street lingo (not used or needed by anyone nowadays but it's fun in a nerdy way)

My method of teaching is based on how myself learned 5 languages - through total and complete immersion in the language. (I’m a speaker of Russian, French, English & German so if you speak any of those feel free to test my skills!)

• Cultural knowledge, traditional songs, pop culture & jokes – so you can chat naturally, crack jokes, and fit right in
• Interactive online video call lessons
