About Nia
As a Bachelor of Commerce student at the University of Toronto with a strong quantitative background, I approach tutoring with structure, patience, and clarity. Mathematics is not about memorizing steps — it’s about understanding patterns and logic. My goal is to help students build strong foundations so they feel confident solving problems independently.
I focus on breaking down complex concepts into simple, manageable steps and ensuring students truly understand why something works, not just how to apply a formula.

My teaching approach is built around four key principles:

I ensure students understand the core concept before moving into more difficult problems. Whether it’s algebra, functions, trigonometry, or calculus basics, we build understanding from the ground up.
