About Nathan
I was Head Boy at Tiffin School in Kingston-upon-Thames where I studied Economics, Politics, and Maths at A-level. It was a fantastic school which, over seven years, instilled my love of learning. It would be fantastic to pass this on through my favourite subject - politics.
I can think of nothing more rewarding, or important, than educating people on the ways in which we are governed and how we could be governed. I love debating, and so I look forward to our lessons being less of a dictation on my part, but more of a back-and-forth discussion which allows us to break down concepts and layer our own original thoughts upon them.

Is the personal political? Is the political personal? Politics is all about power, opinions, and incentives - and the interactions between all three. My approach to teaching politics is to get students to ask themselves questions using such an analytical framework, whereby the powers, opinions, and incentives of relevant political actors come under scrutiny to explain why things happen and what effect they might have. My lessons typically last one hour.
This is my first time teaching Politics, having tutored many students in Maths, English, and 11+ preparation, so I can't wait to start. My lessons are geared towards those studying for A-level qualifications, and those simply wanting to understand more about UK politics.
