About Tallulah
As a tutor, I am committed to helping my students succeed in their academic pursuits. I have a particular interest in teaching maths because I believe it is a subject that provides a solid foundation for many other fields of study. My approach to teaching is to make it engaging, accessible, and tailored to individual student needs. I want my students to enjoy the learning process, feel confident in their abilities, and achieve their academic goals.
Apart from being a tutor, I am also an international lacrosse player, which has taught me the importance of dedication, teamwork, and perseverance. These values are central to my teaching philosophy and are essential for helping my students to achieve success in their academic and personal lives.

As a mathematics tutor with experience teaching up to GCSE level, my teaching style is focused on creating a supportive and engaging learning environment where students can excel.
I strongly believe that each student has their unique learning style. Therefore, I tailor my lessons to meet individual student needs. I start by evaluating the student's current level of understanding of the subject and build on their existing knowledge, which helps them to gain confidence and progress towards their goals.
My teaching approach is based on a combination of interactive learning, practical examples, and problem-solving activities. I aim to make maths more accessible and enjoyable for my students by using real-world examples that relate to their daily lives. This approach helps them to grasp the concepts more easily and understand how math is used in everyday situations.
Throughout the lessons, I regularly check for understanding and provide constructive feedback to help students improve. I encourage students to ask questions and actively participate in the learning process. This helps them to stay engaged, motivated and focused on their studies.
In summary, my teaching style is geared towards making maths accessible, fun and relevant to students' lives. I strive to provide a supportive and engaging learning environment that helps students to build confidence and excel in their studies.
