About Samarth
Hello! I'm an Economics Honors graduate currently pursuing my MBA in Finance.
My Journey with Economics: Economics wasn't always easy for me. In school, I struggled with abstract concepts and boring textbook definitions. But when a teacher showed me how economics connects to everyday life – why prices rise, how businesses make decisions, what drives the economy – everything clicked. From there, I fell in love with the subject. I pursued Economics Honors at university, excelled in competitive exams, and now I'm deepening my knowledge through an MBA in Finance. That journey taught me something crucial: every student can master economics if concepts are explained the right way.
Why I Teach: I genuinely believe that struggling students don't lack intelligence – they've had bad teaching. A student who "hates economics" just hasn't seen it explained clearly yet. My mission is to be that teacher for you. I want every student I teach to understand concepts deeply, see how they apply in the real world, and feel confident tackling any economics problem.
What Makes Me Different:
I teach from real-world examples first, theory second (not the other way around)
I remember struggling with the subject, so I'm patient and never condescending
I adapt my teaching to YOUR learning style, not force you into mine
I combine school-level simplicity with MBA-level depth
I focus on understanding first, marks second (though marks follow naturally)
My Teaching Record: I've taught students across different levels – from Class 11 struggling with basics to undergrads tackling advanced microeconomics. The results speak for themselves: improved grades, increased confidence, and most importantly, students who actually enjoy economics now. I take pride in every student's progress.
How I Work: I believe in transparency and accountability. Before we start, we discuss your goals – whether you want to pass exams, master concepts, or build a strong foundation. Each session is structured but flexible. I create a safe space where you can ask anything without judgment. You're not interrupting me with questions; questions ARE the session.
Beyond Academics: I'm an MBA student immersed in finance and real-world case studies. This means I can show you how economics actually works in business, markets, and everyday life. You're learning from someone who's actively using and evolving their economics knowledge, not just repeating old textbooks.
