About Salma

I have a solid academic foundation in Economics, with a BA in Economics from Government College for Women and an MA in Economics from IGNOU. I have also qualified the MA Economics entrance examination of Pondicherry University and am currently pursuing CMA (US), which strengthens my understanding of applied economics and finance.

Alongside my academic background, I have experience as a Student Mentor at Vaasaram Leadership Academy, where I guided students in their learning and development. This has helped me build strong communication, patience, and the ability to explain concepts clearly.

I maintain a structured, professional, and student-focused approach in every class. My goal is to create a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, gain clarity in concepts, and improve their academic performance with confidence.

About the lesson

My tutoring approach is student-centered, structured, and exam-focused. I begin by assessing the student’s current understanding and identifying key areas of difficulty. Based on this, I tailor each session to suit their learning pace and academic goals.

I simplify complex Economics concepts using step-by-step explanations, real-world examples, and clear graphical analysis. My classes are interactive, encouraging students to ask questions and actively participate. I also focus on exam preparation through practice questions, past papers, and revision techniques to improve performance.

A typical lesson lasts 60 minutes, including concept explanation, guided practice, and doubt clarification.

I hold a BA in Economics from Government College for Women, an MA in Economics from IGNOU, and I am a CMA (US) candidate. I have also worked as a Student Mentor at Vaasaram Leadership Academy, which strengthened my ability to guide and support students effectively.

My lessons are designed for CBSE, ICSE, IGCSE, and A-Level students (Grade 11 & 12), as well as undergraduate students (BA/BCom) who need support in Economics.
