About Violet
My interest in economics began with a curiosity about how societies distribute resources and make financial decisions. This led me to complete a Bachelor’s in Economics and pursue teaching, helping students develop strong analytical skills and conceptual understanding. Over 6 years, I have taught students at various levels, focusing on clarity, real-life application, and structured explanation.
I prioritize patience, clear communication, and practical examples in my lessons. By connecting abstract concepts to everyday experiences, I help students engage with the subject meaningfully. Each learner receives individualized attention to ensure they progress confidently and comfortably.
Outside the classroom, I follow economic developments, market trends, and policy decisions to provide relevant insights during lessons. Watching students gain confidence, understand complex economic ideas, and apply knowledge practically is highly fulfilling. My goal is to cultivate curiosity, critical thinking, and competence in every student.

Economics can seem abstract without real-world context. My lessons help students understand how markets, consumers, and governments interact through simple explanations and relatable examples. I cover topics such as supply and demand, opportunity cost, fiscal and monetary policy, and market structures, ensuring learners grasp the principles and logic behind economic decisions. Lessons include discussion, case studies, and exercises to strengthen conceptual understanding and critical thinking. By connecting theory to everyday life, students develop both comprehension and interest in the subject.
Lesson plans are adapted to the student’s level. Beginners start with foundational concepts like basic supply-demand, price mechanisms, and introduction to money. Intermediate learners explore elasticity, market structures, and economic indicators. Advanced learners focus on macroeconomic policies, financial markets, and analytical problem-solving. Exercises emphasize reasoning, application, and exam preparation. Students are encouraged to ask questions and discuss ideas, fostering deeper understanding and confidence.
Through consistent practice, learners develop the ability to analyze economic problems, interpret data, and understand current events in financial and social contexts. My goal is to make economics understandable, relevant, and engaging while equipping students with skills for academic and real-world success.
