About Addison
My journey into economics began with a deep curiosity about the forces that shape wealth, poverty, opportunity, and development. Over the past seven years, I have dedicated myself to studying economic patterns, theories, and real-world applications. Teaching economics has given me an opportunity to share this understanding with students and help them recognize the impact of informed decision-making. My approach is supportive, patient, and structured. I take time to understand each student’s weaknesses and strengths, adjusting my methods accordingly. I encourage questions, discussion, and independent thought. Education, to me, is about developing minds, not just delivering information. I am committed to helping students build confidence in their abilities and develop a clear, analytical perspective. I stay current by following global economic trends, reading research, and analyzing case studies. This ensures that my lessons remain relevant, engaging, and meaningful. Economics is not just a subject; it is a tool for understanding the world. Sharing that tool with students is one of the most purposeful aspects of my life.

Economics is the study of how choices shape the world, and my lessons are built to help students understand how individual and collective decisions form the foundation of societies and economies. I present economic concepts as living ideas rather than abstract theories, connecting them to real events, historical developments, and current global issues. My teaching philosophy focuses on clarity, relevance, and engagement. I create a learning environment where students feel comfortable exploring complex questions, forming opinions, and building confidence in their analytical abilities. By linking academic content to real-life examples, I make economics more meaningful and easier to grasp.
Lesson structure is carefully arranged for each level. Beginners explore essential concepts such as scarcity, supply, demand, and opportunity cost. Intermediate learners progress into elasticity, taxation, inflation, and government policy. Advanced students analyze market structures, macroeconomic models, global trade systems, and financial decision-making. I include data-based analysis, case studies, written evaluations, and exam-style questions to strengthen understanding. Continued practice and discussion help students develop the ability to think critically and interpret real-world economic scenarios independently.
Students do more than pass exams — they gain a new way of viewing the world. They develop decision-making skills, logical thinking, and an increased awareness of how systems operate. I have seen learners become more confident in debates, presentations, and academic performance. My mission is to ensure each student leaves my lessons with both knowledge and empowerment.
