About Reese
My interest in economics began with curiosity about how societies allocate resources, make policy decisions, and respond to market forces. I earned a B.A. in Economics and an M.Sc. in Applied Economics, building strong expertise in theory, applied analysis, and policy evaluation. Over 11 years, I have guided students across levels, helping them develop analytical skills, conceptual clarity, and practical problem-solving abilities.
My teaching approach is interactive, student-focused, and analytical. I use structured explanations, real-world examples, exercises, data interpretation, and case studies to make complex ideas accessible and relevant. Students are encouraged to ask questions, explore independently, and develop analytical reasoning skills.
Outside teaching, I stay engaged with economic research, data analysis, and policy developments to ensure lessons remain contemporary, relevant, and applied. Witnessing students progress from uncertainty to mastery, from passive learning to active analysis, is immensely rewarding. My mission is to cultivate confident, skilled, and analytical thinkers who understand economics deeply and can apply it meaningfully in various contexts.

Economics becomes engaging and practical when students understand how theories apply to real-world decision-making, markets, and policy. My lessons cover microeconomics, macroeconomics, econometrics, market analysis, public policy, and behavioral economics. I focus on helping students develop conceptual understanding, analytical reasoning, and data interpretation skills. Lessons incorporate case studies, practical examples, numerical exercises, graphs, and critical discussions to strengthen comprehension and application skills.
Lesson plans are tailored to learners’ levels. Beginners explore foundational concepts, supply-demand analysis, basic macroeconomic principles, and simple problem-solving exercises. Intermediate learners tackle applied econometrics, policy evaluation, mathematical modeling, and market analysis. Advanced learners engage with economic research, statistical modeling, forecasting, and policy simulations. Each lesson integrates exercises, case studies, and practical problem-solving opportunities to foster mastery, independent thinking, and confidence in applying economics concepts.
Economics lessons also develop logical reasoning, data interpretation, critical thinking, and structured problem-solving.
